I want a conversation

Hello. I am Christian, specifically a Reformed Baptist, from the United States. I want to hear other worldviews on what is real, true, and beautiful. Please DM me. I plan to only ask questions and not make any assertions of my own, though that’s not a fixed “rule” of course.

Question: Federal Abortion Ban?

This is mainly a question for US pro-lifers. Would you be in favor of a federal abortion ban, either through a Supreme Court ruling, new amendment, or otherwise? Why or why not?

I always enjoyed this kind of internet humor and it seems to have just vanished, and I don’t know where to talk about it

The average Muslim is far more convicted and unapologetic than the average Christian, especially in the US. I wish more of us Christians emulated that confidence and certainty in belief.

You and a billion other people are magically teleported into a room together. Everyone must choose either a blue or a red button.

If the majority of people press blue, everyone, regardless of button choice, goes home.

If the majority of people press red, everyone who pressed red will go home and everyone who pressed blue will die.

Which do you press? And if you think the ability to debate with others before you choose would change your choice, include your answer for both scenarios: being able to debate beforehand and not.

My answer, though I’m open to persuasion:

>!Red. It’s the only button that guarantees your survival. And if everyone picks red, everyone will survive. Blue is a needless risk, as it is the only button that can cause harm to you.!<

Edit: Maybe a billion people is a bit much. Perhaps just a thousand?
