Not worthy of a final season. this whole season is a mess. in a interview eric said they always knew it was 5 seasons. they couldn't plan it any better seriously? realistically EP 1 is the only great episode so far for the finale.
Noir one of the fan favorites had a rushed death basically ended up being a throw away.
They hyped up ryan for a entire season just to show up in one episode and get his ass beat (Yes he'll probably show up in the last episode but about fucking time?)
And episode 7 (spoilers). Soldier boy got choked out and packed up in a minute after having majority of the screen time flip flopping sides. its a disappointment of a ending to his character. i would had prefered if he went out with a bang fighting off another supe or some shit. instead we got dogknott and cat girl sniffing eachother asses wtf
Frenchies death was the most that disappointed me. Why didn't we see homelander killing him? Even terror humping the homelander plushie was shot better. Sure he had one last moment with kimiko but come on that's the death scene we get for one of the best and main characters in the show? they could had showed us homelander punching through him and still get a few words out to kimiko. and the uranium burn mark on his cheek magically disappears hello??
the only death that they wrote well was A-train. and personally i think firecrackers death was reasonable too. She had a chance to leave and didn't take it.
Sure there is one last episode and it could be great. Unlikely But even if it is there is lots of wasted potential in these 7 episodes.
its not a horrible season. could had been worse but its not good either. it would had been good if season 6 existed. instead they're giving us a spinoff with a backstory that wont be cared about more than the main storyline.
