I'm a PC player(wish I could play) and I'm glad everybody for the most part is enjoying the Beta. I just wanted to know how everything is going so far, your thoughts? favorite characters and why? and also who you hate fighting? lol.

I cannot play bc nobody is accepting i been waiting for now 5h strait

I'm not a pro at fighting games, but im losing alot and my opponent still has all three opponents, I can't get in, I can't punish. People are blocking halfway through my combos. meanwhile I get comboed and all I can do is eat popcorn. I try to break and within a frame I'm back in a combo and my assist now has less health. when i launch people i struggle to jump into it, I stay on the ground. my opponent supers my ass a dozen times vs me doing 1 or 2. I've also noticed when both of us attack at the same time Im the one that gets hit

I remember when rpgs were mostly turn-based. That’s what I grew up on, that was my preference and I really enjoyed them. Then, a lot of the newer ones that were coming out were action rpgs and I was completely against it. It took me a while but I finally started to embrace them (a lil, I guess. There’s a thin line between Arpg and action/adventure).

So here’s my new challenge. Invinciblevs with its Modern fighting controls. It seems this new simple control scheme is where the newer fighting games are going. I love fighting games but I also love my quarter circles, combos I can come up with and a true separation of skill. Not saying there is not a skill gap cause there is but it’s not that wide with modern control scheme. I get it, it’ll appeal to more people cause it’s easier to get good but it seems so fisher price to me. “My first fighting game” type stuff. Idk. Maybe I just need to spend more time with these kinda games to appreciate them.

In SF6, the modern control scheme has less damage than classic controls. In this game there doesn’t seem to be any disadvantage of using the standard control scheme but let me know if there is. Guess I’ll stick to the standard control scheme for now if there’s no benefit in using motion inputs

it's ridiculous how many people are trying to cheat for a beta or just flat out rage quitting

Game hasn't been playable for 24h and I've already wasted hours of people not accepting matches sometimes up to 10x in a row with minute long queues. What the fuck?
