Another update on this beauty! + some new leaves in the rest of my collection

Can't wait to see it all stretched out!!! And I've got some absolutely gems for monday 👀, got a special gift from my mom (very rare orchid) and got myself something similar to what I've been trying to get 😉

1-2 - Alocasia venom

3 - Monstera burle marx flame, 4 holes!

4 - Anthurium veitchii, but damaged, but it's a size up :)

5-6 - Anthurium pallidiflorum, seems like although the lower part remains attached, it won't expand as much as it would have. When it just broke it was almost half of the leaf. As you can see it's a much smaller percentage of the total leaf area now. Ahhh mourning what could have been a HUGE leaf. Although the next one will probably be even better 😍

7 - Alocasia ninja (big plant), leaf behind it (cuprea) was attacked by aphids lol

Drosophyllum babies, they are growing well!

7 germinated so far! The biggest ones are amazing at catching dirt✨ (they also have a few small insects). Accidentally washed away some dew before taking photo's haha

Although a bit deformed, it's still super cute! Cypripedium alaskanum is a naturally occurring hybrid of guttatum x yatabeanum. As the name suggests it can be found in Alaska (and Canada), although this one lives in my garden in Europe 😁. It's a very small cypripedium, the flower is maybe 3 cm high. It will likely multiply (underground, they have spreading rhizomes) and give me more flowers next year, hopefully not deformed!

1&2 - mixed, sown 11-12-25

3 - Werneri C188, sown 09-01-26

4 - Dorotheae C124, sown 09-01-26

5 - Karasmontana Summitatum red selection, sown 09-01-26. Slightly etiolated, now giving them more light.

6 - Ozteniana SH531, sown 09-01-26

7 - Gracilidelineata C367, sown 09-01-26

8 - Rushiorum RH3317, sown 25-04-26. 20-30 sown, 33 germinated. Should be pretty smooth and even grey, they remind me of split rocks from other genera.

9 - Ozteniana SH531 and Otzeniana PV738, sown 25-04-26. 20-30 sown of each, 17 SH531 and 6 PV738 germinated. Was disappointed only 4 (technically 5, but that small one is going to die soon) survived first try since I like them a lot. Got some more seeds for hopefully better results! Will keep them under the humidity dome longer this time and won't water them as often as I did for the first try.

10 - Gracilidelineata var. waldroniae C189, sown 25-04-26. 20-30 sown, 19 germinated. Super excited for these, love the brainy tops the adults have!

Watered it this morning and must have leaned against it?? Was super careful not to even TOUCH it while moving it and it was just fine before I left 💔 second leaf since I got it. I know I'll get another leaf and stuff, but I just want to know when (and how) it happened..

It's not actually dew btw, but a sticky substance made by the plant to catch and digest insects and other bugs! Got 5 little seedlings now, with another seed I saw having a root poke out! Underneath the perlite layer (that stuff likes drifting to the top lol) is an appropriate drosophyllum mix in terracotta pot!
