Nepenthes Gaya flowers?
I got this Nepenthes gaya last weekend and last night I noticed these flowers? It doesn’t look like the flowering I see in other people’s photos.

I split and repotted my VFT for the first time and it turned out my bees like the constant source of water from the new pots. I also know that when they're gone the top layer has likely dried out.
The photo might not give it the justice it deserves but it's so bright yellow that while I was there doing some pollination, so it was not covered by a bag, made even two passersby stop to come take a better look in awe.
New to the community, figured I'd share the massive pitcher plants in my yard.
i went to the annual plant fair hosted by my local carnivorous society and i purchased a few great neps!!
1st pic: N. ampullaria x aristolochioides
2nd pic: seed grow N. veitchii (and the most expensive of all of them!)
3rd pic: N. ventricosa x (macfarlanei x aristolochioides)
4th pic: tissue culture N. albomarginata red
im excited to see how these all grow in. I’ve been getting into aristolochioides hybrids lately so i was really glad to find some!
I collected seeds from my bog planter last fall and couldn’t remember if they were pitchers or sundews. They appear to be sundews now that they’ve grown in a bit. I’m looking for some advice on when and how I should go about separating them. There are so many in this container!
One of my favorite carnivorous plants. What is yours?

Remember that nastay Carolina red tube Flava that I posted a few days ago? I realized that it had multiple “mature” crowns on it and took 2 insurance divisions of it. FL72A S. Flava var Rubricorpora ‘MKF235 Carolina Rubricorpora’ X S. Flava var Rubricorpora ‘Columbus Co NC Rubricorpora’
My goodness what amazing Pings they are growing.
Happy Growing

And my giant flytrap’s is also coming along! Normally I cut any flowers before they can grow so the traps grow bigger, but I’ve never actually seen them in person so letting them flower this year! The sarracenia took SO long to open! Really awesome upside down umbrella shape!
Was gifted this, and know little about their care so I just had a few questions!
- from the pictures I’ve seen I’m guessing this to be a Sarracenia Rosita or similar, am I close? From what I read I should add a small amount of distilled water to the traps since this species is reliant on rain water, is this correct? There is currently no fluid in any of the traps that I can see.
- as far as light requirements go; I have it under a lamp for now and will move it under a grow light soon as I’ve read they should be adjusted to bright lights. Is this reasonable or do they need to be kept outside? My outdoor space only gets direct sunlight in the morning, is that enough if I were to move it outside?
- what size pot should this be moved too? I’ve read sarracenia like to spread out a bit so I’m assuming I need something bigger than what it came in. I know terra cotta will dry out the moss substrate, so I will likely try to 3D print something resembling the bog setups I’ve seen here. I’m assuming taller is more important than wider, and it needs to have an inch or so of distilled water in the bottom at all times?
Thanks!
I was a complete newbie when I bought her in September 2025 (pic 1) vs. today (pic 2).
The soil is a mix of dry sphagnum and coco fiber (i don't want to use peat because of it's non renewable aspect) and some draining material at the bottom. Now i just hope it will soon rain because i will need some rain water. I put some slate on thé orange pot to reduce evaporation and because it was a lot more visible than i thought.
My veitchii (m) started getting brown and curling after shipping. What could be happening?
