How much are people paying for Estring?

I went to pick mine up today and they wanted $165 with insurance. I thought that was a bit steep.

Will pollen hurt my paint?

I just purchased a CR-V ST, so I'm insufferable. I am at that phase where I park at the far end of parking lots, obsess over everything, and keep asking myself, did I buy the right car? Anyway, today, my latest, is I'm noticing yellow pollen powder on my white car from the trees. Is this going to hurt my paint? Help me.

I'm a proud new owner of a '26 ST and I have the Continental Cross Contact LX Sport tires on my car. I'm not crazy about them. I'm wondering if I should upgrade to Michelin Defenders or something. Thoughts?

The Touring comes with the Continental Cross Contact LX Sport (not to be confused with LX25) or the Michelin Primacy A/S. I sorta wish I would have pushed them to switch me to the Primacy A/S.

I see two different types of tires on the Honda CR-V Sport Touring. Michelin Primacy A/S and Continental Cross Contact LX Sport. Is one better than the other?

I did not get wheel locks on my CR-V. Are they recommended? I think it's $110 for them on my 2026 CR-V ST. Wondering if I should get them or not.

Update: Decided I'm not getting the wheel locks. They sound like a pain and I'm parking the car in a pretty safe area.

I recently got a new CRV hybrid. Beautiful car. When I went to pick up the car, it had a dent in the back. It was a heartache and a pain to get it sorted with the dealership, because the car is already in my name. Here is what I have learned, and maybe this will help others:

Before you sign the sales contract, make sure you look the car over carefully. Take your time! Look at the tires, every panel, the upholstery. Take photos of the car and the odometer, so you have a record. Take note of whether the gas tank is full or not (again, photos!). Make sure the radio and the speakers work. Make sure your phone connects properly. Take the car for a test drive. Lot damage on cars is a real thing. These cars often get dented and scratched when they are juggled around. They get loaded on and off carrier trucks. Car dealerships rotate inventory. New cars undergo frequent test drives. When you think about it, it is an absolute miracle your car doesn't have scratches and dings!

When you go to pick up the car, go through the entire process again, and take photos! If you find a dent later, you want to be able to show that it was there when you picked up the car. Reddit user New-Jury-5133 also recommends to make sure you get two key fobs!

Last month we had the $1,000 rebate for financing the car and the $1,250 rebate for the Honda Loyalty program. Are those both over with for May? What are the new rebates for new Honda CR-V Sport-L and Sport Touring?

EDIT: I'm located in the US in the Boston area.

My new car has a dent in the back. It also had 55 miles more than what was on the odometer disclosure statement and 2.5 gallons less than a full tank. (The odometer disclosure statement said the car had only 5 miles on it, but when I picked the car up a few days later, it has 55 mils on it.) The dealership wants to make things right, but the car is already registered to me, and they seem to be unable (or unwilling to reverse the sale). So here is what they are trying to do:

First, they said they would pop out the dent. I said no, I want a new car that is not damaged. So they are offering me a new vehicle. But since the car is already in my name, they will have to take in the original vehicle as a trade. Problem #2: I bought the car at the end of April and the incentives are not the same in May as in April. (The incentives in April offered were $2,250 in rebates. They can only offer me $500 in a rebate for May.) I am not good with numbers. Can someone please look over the paperwork and tell me if I am overlooking anything? (I will attach images in the reply to this post.)*

* Oops, looks like I am unable to add images in the askcarsales subreddit. Please DM me, and I will show them to you.

Some details:

I originally paid $30,750 in cash for the car and financed $10,000 over 24 months for 2.99%. Monthly payments would have been $430.30. In the new deal, they added $250 on (to compensate for the difference in incentives), so I would be paying $441.00 month. Later they called on the phone and said they would eat the $250. So my payments will be the same. So you can ignore that bit where the monthly payments are different.

I am trying to think this all through carefully. I believe I can still itemize the tax on the car in my 2025 tax returns, since I paid tax on the original vehicle, which technically I owned for a day or two. But what about the excise tax? (I live in Massachusetts). The total sales price of the replacement vehicle will have been reduced from $43,327 to $40,850. I will have to pay excise tax for April on the higher price, but I would have had to pay that anyway. And moving forward, I will pay excise tax on a lower amount for the remainder of 2026.

I just purchased a '26 sport touring. I have the car parked in my driveway but landlord says the trees out there will soon be dropping a lot of white flower things with yellow stuff that will get all over the car. I don't drive a lot, so I'm thinking I should get a car cover. Can anyone recommend a good one? I'm in the Northeast. I see this Sunbrella one offered on Weathertech. It's $700. Pretty crazy. Is it worth it?

I negotiated a price on a car. I put down $5,000 on a credit card. (I'm in MA, and I understand that a deposit is refundable.) First they told me they would have the car in two days. Then they said it will be here next week. And when I said, I didn't want to finish the deal until I saw the car and inspected in, the reply was, "Okay, we'll have it here tomorrow." Mind you, that was April 28. I assume they want to close before end of the month.

I signed what appeared to be a buyers order, but there was no VIN number on it, and everything was handwritten in scribbly writing.

If they don't have the vehicle today, can I request a return on my deposit? I just want to make sure I am not tricked into waiting a week for the car.

I'm getting a CR-V SL in the Premium color for $40,750 OTD. Tax in MA is 6.25%. Honda rebates (loyalty and financing) applied after tax to bring down from $43,000. I'm dong $5k on a credit card (to get the loyalty points on my card). Financing $10k at 2.99% to qualify for one of the rebates. Paying the rest in cash. Is this a good deal?

Should I ask about add-ons? I haven't seen the car yet as they are bringing it in in a day or two. A friend suggested I insist on seeing and inspecting vehicle before completing the deal.

Can someone help me with this? I'm trying to purchase a Honda CR-V Sport Touring in White (premium color). They agreed to $40,750 out the door. I'm in Massachusetts. It looks like they are applying the rebates ($1,000 for finance; $1,250 for loyalty) to the after tax price. Is that how it's normally done? I'm a little confused how they've written everything up here. I can't see the MSRP and the amount off MSRP. Appreciate your thoughts and advice.

I have linked my Quicken to my brokerage accounts. But I often transfer funds in and out of Vanguard. How do I categorize a Vanguard transfer? For example, I just tranfered $1,000 out of my bank checking account into my Vanguard Roth. How do I label that in Quicken? Should I just use "transfer"? I want to keep this simple. Thanks!
