Hey everyone,

I’m a 26-year-old male working in Williamsburg and I’m looking to either take Spanish classes or find a private tutor in the area for in-person lessons.

I understand the basics pretty well, but I’m trying to get more fluent since I never really had the chance to learn growing up. I’m mainly focused on improving speaking and conversation skills so I can actually use the language in real life.

Ideally I’m looking for:

  • 1:1 tutoring or small in-person classes
  • Someone in Williamsburg or nearby Brooklyn
  • Affordable options (not trying to pay super high NYC prices if possible)

If anyone has recommendations for tutors, language schools, or even informal meetups that would be great. I’m open to cafes, libraries, or any relaxed setting where I can practice consistently.

Appreciate any help 🙏

I woke up this morning and saw a bunch of random chats on my WhatsApp from numbers in Brazil that I’ve never messaged before. I didn’t click anything, didn’t reply, didn’t join anything—just deleted the chats right away.

The only person I regularly talk to is my girlfriend (she’s in the Dominican Republic), and I’ve been using WhatsApp normally for about a year with no issues.

Now suddenly my account is locked and says it’s “under review” for 24 hours. I honestly have no idea what triggered this since I didn’t do anything.

Has this happened to anyone else? Could this be some kind of spam attack or someone trying to access my account?

I already reached out to support, but I’m kinda stressed because I use WhatsApp for work and family internationally.

Any advice or similar experiences would help.

Hi everyone,

I help run a venue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and we’re looking to partner with a local organization, shelter, or community group that could make use of leftover food from our events.

We often have quality food available late at night, and instead of letting it go to waste, we’d love to get it into the hands of people who need it. Ideally, we’re looking to build an ongoing relationship with a reliable partner—someone we can call after events for pickup, or coordinate drop-offs when needed.

If you’re part of an organization (or know one) that would be interested, please feel free to DM me.

Thanks so much 🙏
