- specifically looking for triggers with good springs for smooth feathering throttle/brake (this is KEY, the resistance has to get higher as i further press)
- good trumbstick quality, low latency
- other features are secondary, i will weigh out the best options

- budget is up to 300€ (i believe thats what modded ones go for?)

- platform PC, region germany

- games i play will be mostly rally sims like assetto corsa rally (standalone), rally sim fans (rbr) and dirt rally (1)

controllers i have been considering:
- some scuf controllers reportedly have adjustable trigger tension, that sounds nice, are they progressive tho?
- i tested the dualsense edge and the feel of the triggers was close but not strong enough (that thing also didnt really fit my hand)
- mr chatgpt consistently recommends the regular xbox controllers + the elite versions for being widely used by racers for their triggers, can someone confirm?

adaptive triggers:
- i personally use the flydigi apex 5 right now and its triggers are unusable, as they feel fully "floaty"
- the adaptive trigger modes have huge delays and feel inconstistant so absolutely unusable for this purpose too (you can set a triggerlock after which the resistance kicks, which can help with your fingers memory a little but thats not enough)
- important:: you still can recommend me a controller with the adaptive trigger feature, one doesnt cancel out the other necessarily (the ds5 edge has both too)

modding:
- if you guys have any recommendations on diy, or a website that offers these kind of modded devices/services il take anything

- just take your favorite controller and push down both triggers and if you feel a resistance that gets progressively stronger, tell me the name of your model
