Is there a market for resale tickets? ( Not selling on here)

Basically, I have 2 tickets, me and a friend were going.

I've had an emergency op a few months ago and only just gone back to work.

My friend found someone else to go with. Now he's in hospital after injuring his back.

If I put them up on Ticketmaster, is there a market for them so close to the festival?

I'm stuck and skint, I'd love to have the money back but don't want them sitting there and don't sell

Had my first doctor phone call yesterday about starting the process.

I thought it would be to talk about my symptoms etc, but it was a diagnostic tool.

Going through areas of my body, say what pain I have etc, fatigue and other things.

And according to the diagnostic, I am within the score for fibromyalgia!

Now, he's booked me in for a blood test. Said it was something like FMA or Ama test? Something about looking for joint inflammation.

What else would they be testing for in future?

What is this? Son found it when camping with Scouts in a field in [East Yorkshire]

Son found this and brought it home from his trip away at the weekend, been sat in his backpack all week.

Scout leader reckons it's a squirrel?

Just had our first meeting of our group with a certain medical disability.

We went to Lazaat which was great, but it was a bit too hard to get to for those who didn't drive.

Thankfully those who did, picked others up along the way.

I don't mind paying something for the room hire.

Most of the group members are based in Hull, Beverley and right out towards Withernsea.

Hopefully can provide tea/ coffee etc

Thanks!

So, New year's Eve just gone, I have an emergency surgery due to perforated diverticulitis and a portion of my colon removed.

In hospital, still a bit drowsy, they said what I thought was 20cm of bowel removed.

After getting my discharge letter, it seems a whole lot more?

I'm not sure if they meant 20cm was the diseased, diverticulitis part.

So how much have I had taken out from what is described?

Evening everyone.

Since being a teenager, I think I've had FM.

Not too bad then, just put the sleeping in and feeling crap down to teenage hormones.

Now, I'm 38. I had major emergency surgery on new year's eve just gone and I had 14 weeks off work. Had a perforated bowel and had my sigmoid colon removed and now have a stoma. Had a massive bout of cellulitis and nerve damage from my spinal, which I still have. Thankfully, I no longer have IBS! 😹

Had 5 weeks of feeling *amazing* , never slept so well, felt like I woke up and had so much energy. Then suddenly hit a wall. Woke up aching every day. Headaches, just generally feeling unwell. But manageable.

Went back to work after 14 weeks and did well until about 4 days ago. So close to ringing in sick on Friday. Keep getting hot flushes, massive energy drops, feels like I'm wearing chain mail.

Got this weekend off, and child free. Had so many plans and was going to catch up with the washing, tidy up etc. but yesterday I felt a bit unwell, so thought I'd rest and do it today.

I slept from midnight last night til 8 am this morning. Had breakfast. Out a wash on, then went back to bed at 11.30 am right until 3pm. Husband woke me up when he got in from work. Would have probably ended up having a lot longer. If anything, I now feel worse than I did this morning.

I know about FM as myum has it. She was fine until she had a C section with my brother and was never the same. But back then it was called M.e. and was seen as a non existent thing. 30 years later she's finally got disability benefits for it and pip etc.

She's wasted so many years not being heard and suffering for it.

So. I don't know where to start. It's always been on my mind, but I definitely think I have it. This week has proved it. The pain, the aches, the tiredness. It's 20.15 here and I'm off to bed. Even though I'm exhausted, I may not fall asleep until 10-12 pm and will feel crap again tomorrow

My 11 year old absolutely loves a lot of the bands I grew up with.

Kid has good taste!

He uses my Spotify for music, but pretty much listens to the singles. Me and his dad were talking about how we didn't really have singles when we were younger, we listened to whole albums, to the point that when we listen to certain songs, we immediately start thinking or humming the song that was after it on the album ( it's that ingrained in our heads)

He started off listening to Hybrid Theory the other day, and he loved it. He enjoyed every song from the start to finish.

Another one was Toxicity by SOAD.

What other albums are bangers when listened to as a whole?

He likes slipknot, Korn, SOAD right across to green day and the offspring. He absolutely loves his music and has been to a festival for a day and got his first gig to see Korn when he was 9

Sat here with a bowl of cheesy beans, half a baguette and a chunk of proper butter. Been looking forward this all day!

I say 'pauper' as it wasn't a cheap, £1.58 for the beans (proper Heinz x cathedral city!) £2.20 baguette and £2.50 for butter (salted lurpack!)
