Hey all, this is my first post here BUT...
I've been tweaking my pedal board and tone lately, and while playing around with some loops, I had an idea that I don't know how/if it can be executed, but my thought is with my EQD Dispatch Master. I love the sound of this pedal, and it sucks me in when I get to messing around with it. However, I think if I could, I would change only one thing about it - the Mix knob. When turned all the way off, you essentially get a dry signal, and with it all the way on, you essentially get a 50/50 mix of dry signal and wet (with reverb and delay trails playing out).
If I could change one thing about this pedal, would be to change this knob to a crossfade style of mix knob - where all the way off would remain the dry signal as it is currently, but all the way on would be the completely wet signal, little to no dry included, and putting the knob at 12 o'clock would be a 50/50 mix, etc. This arrangement would make for some fantastic atmosphere/ambience where the pick attacking the string wouldn't be noticeable/as prevalent, and which I find distracting.
In effect, this would be like rolling the volume off and back on after picking, kind of, just wouldn't have the volume swells in the reverb/delay trails.
I’d also like to find out if there’s a way to let the reverb/delay trails play out after the pedal has been turned off - currently, when deactivating the switch, it cuts the trail off immediately. However, if I turn the pedal back on fast enough - say, after like one second - I can still hear the trails from before, which leads me to think that the memory on the pedal is still active, even when off. What I’d like to do is just let the pedal switch basically be a shutoff for the input to the circuit, let the reverb/delay trails play through while letting the mix signal play straight through without recording to the circuit.
Does anyone know if anything like that has been done or if it can be done? I’d rather have the first mod mentioned if nothing else, but both would be really nice and would make for, in my opinion, the ultimate vibes machine for my rig. Sorry if any of the terminology is off, I’ve only a functional knowledge of these pedals, but not an in depth one. Thank you in advance!

I play a slew of stuff nowadays, started in metal, went into some jazz for a while, but have come back to metal again after taking an extended break to get out of some bad habits with my playing. Currently learning a lot of Architects, Silent Planet - hence the request for the Dispatch Master mod - sounds great, but I think it would be better with the mod.
