Hey everyone! Just signed up for my first fitness race event in July. I signed for the "Half-rox" just so I can feel things out.

I'm 28yo, 6'1 183lbs with mostly strength training background, with the occasional volleyball pick up game through the years. I've also been running consistently for the past 3 months, mostly easy runs. My 5km is currently at 32:00, although I know I can push it a little harder

Here's how I'm structuring my workouts

Monday:
Full body strength training. Just the basics: squats, presses, pull ups, crunches. Good weights, low reps

Tuesday:
Interval running

Wednesday:
Light "strength" training. Upper body focused (shoulders and grip need serious work right now)

Thursday:
Rest

Friday:
Full body Muscular endurance - light weights, high reps, mostly kettlebell work.

Saturday:
Easy/long runs

Sunday:
Rest or volleyball

Open to suggestions! Thank you!
