Question about the metagame

Hello everybody, how are you doing?

I am about to participate in my first regional tournament, and based on the last regional results, Calyrex Shadow and Zamazenta are currently very popular. The world winning team of 2025, with Koraidon + Lunala is also making some appearences and they won the Queretaro Regional.

Koraidon + Calyrex Ice or Miraidon + Calyrex Ice are quite common in the top cut too.

What do you guys use to counter those teams?

I have been playing and training a lot, but would like to hear some opinions and maybe find new ways to play those meta teams

Any tips/insights are welcomed, thanks in advance for any support

Edit: everybody that is comenting about Champions, there are still some regionals that will be happening using Reg I in pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Champions will be oficial tournament format beggining on May 29.

Hello everybody,

I am thinking about how to best use the Krieg heavy weaponds squad and the combat engineers.

I thought of putting both units in a Taurox and dropping the heavy weapons on an objective so they can overwatch everything that approach with the heavy flamers and engineers can be dropped near a vehicle for max dev wounds with their bomb and free grenades.

I could also leave the heavy weapons behind on the home objective, to protect against Deep Strike, but I don't think I would get much value out of them this way.

Any tips or tricks are welcome, thanks in advance

Hello everybody,

I am having a bit of a dilemma, I am building a list to fight Custodes and my oponente usually runs 2x4 squads of Sisters of Silence for securing deploy and doing secondaries.

I added a unit of 5 tempestus Scions to deep strike their home objective and kill the sisters he left there, but with the points I could add more battleline infantry and, in Combined Arms detach, I could use Reinforcements! to get back a dead unit and put it in his backline as well.

The Scions are a much more direct approach to my problem, however I am afraid I should have more infantry to screen against the golden boys and protect my tanks properly.

Any thoughts on this?

I am not very experienced with the Guard yet, so I don't know if I am overthinking the problem too much.
