It's getting close to our family picture time this year and I've been looking for a family matching set for us to wear. For the last few years our family pictures have been matching pajama sets, or just us all coordinating colors/styles. The closest I've been able to get to a real matching set was getting my husband and my son matching shirts, and I wore a color that was similar. I'm pretty tired of it.

PatPat has sooooo many cute sets that are right up my alley, but none of them have women's 3XL available. I'm not 100% set on wearing a dress, so if anyone has recommendations on where I can find a family set to wear for pictures, please let me know! I don't want to resort to SHEIN or Temu or anything, but that's the only place I can seem to find anything even remotely like what I'm looking for for less than $50/outfit.

I just finished my very first watch through of the entire show and the short series, all within the last month. I do plan on rewatching it from the start now that I've got all the info and lore and stuff, but in the meantime...

Do we consider AYITL to be canon???

I was pissed from the jump. Rory is with Logan, which not only doesn't seem like her because of how he couldn't kick his immaturity in s7, but also because she was cheating on her boyfriend and also the other woman, again. Did we not spend like 2 full seasons on the way that being Dean's other woman impacted her self-esteem, her relationships, other people, and her future? Did we not deep dive into how being the other woman changes you in ways that she hated? How the hell did we get back here again!?

That said, I was really disappointed that Lorelai is in the literal exact same position she was in a decade earlier. Yes, the Dragonfly was her baby. Yes, she was content in Stars Hollow. But she had no dreams? No hopes or goals to fulfill? I mean her and Luke talking surrogates when they're nearly 50 in-show seems ludicrous, wouldn't they have addressed that years ago!?

The Paul breakup just felt insane. I'm sure there's some symbolism behind him that I didn't really catch, and might upon rewatch, but what did it really add to the show? Rory could've had a situationship with Logan without Paul being in the mix. What was the point of him? And don't get me started on "Mom, I'm pregnant."

Too many of the character appearances felt like milking nostalgia - which I'm not against if the writing is good... But it didn't really feel like the writing was very good. I mean, Lane was at Lorelai and Luke's pre-wedding wedding and Jess wasn't. What??

I think the only things I really enjoyed about it were Emily's arc and the implication that Jess wants to give it another shot with Rory. I think the pregnancy beat would've been more fun to explore with Rory, especially considering her mom's experience raising her practically alone.

Anyway it wasn't bad, it really did feel like four episodes of Gilmore Girls, but for a limited series a decade later, I was really hoping for something with more depth and maturity to it. Am I alone? What's the fandom consensus?

Hello! I did my husband and I's taxes this year through TurboTax. I've been using that service for years without any major issues, and I always choose for any remaining tax due to the state to be taken from my federal refund. This has never been an issue, it's typically less than $100, anyway.

This year, I did the same. I went back to my account and double checked. My Federal refund was $1,242, and my taxes owed to Kentucky were $117. The refund delivered to me, according to TurboTax, was $1,125. After fees for shifting money around, I double checked my checking account and received $1,108*** (after 2-3% transfer fees), so exactly as expected.

Now to the issue - I received a letter from the KY Department of Revenue stating that I never paid my state taxes, and now I owe the original $117 plus a fee. Normally I'd have thrown this out assuming it was a scam, but I worked for the state for a couple of years and I know that this letter came from Frankfort, it has all of the correct branding and addresses to be correct. I could simply call the Department of Revenue to tell them there's been a mistake, but would it be better to contact TurboTax?

My neighbor had the same exact issue this year and she used H&R Block, which makes me think it's not an issue of the service, but rather of the IRS...

What's my best course of action, here?
