I caused a minor rear-end collision and have assets
Location: Florida. I have 100/300/100 insurance and rear-ended someone at a low speed, but he has been through this process before and already hired an attorney. Everything I'm reading says 99% of the time insurance will settle, but can someone talk to me about the 1% of cases that don't? My assets greatly exceed our policy. I'm so nervous. As a lawyer, if you know someone's assets exceed policy, would you go after someone like me?
