[DEV] Foamageddon — a bubble popping game with combos, bath bombs, power-ups and 68 achievements. Free with optional £1.99 to remove ads. Finally released.

Hey r/iosgaming — solo dev here, and my first ever app has just launched. It's called Foamageddon, and here's the details:

The game

Bubbles appear on screen and grow over time. Tap to pop them — but smaller bubbles score more points, so there's a constant tension between acting early and waiting for more bubbles to create colour streaks That simple loop gets surprisingly addictive.

Pop bubbles of the same colour in a streak to build combos. Chain 8 or more and you unlock a bath bomb that clears every bubble of that colour from the screen at once. As the levels progress, spawn rates increase, bubbles grow faster, and multi-tap bubbles begin appearing that need several hits to pop.

Power-ups

Three types drop naturally during play:

  • Freeze — pauses all bubble growth
  • Shrink — cuts bubbles down to size
  • Shower — clears bubbles from the screen

You can also spend coins to buy them on demand, but you'll pick up enough through normal play that purchasing is never necessary.

Achievements

68 achievements to unlock, each with its own individually designed image. Plenty to chase if you like that kind of thing.

Monetisation — full transparency

  • Free to download
  • Ads in the free version (hopefully non-intrusive)
  • £1.99 one-time IAP removes all ads and unlocks leaderboards
  • Coins available to purchase for power-ups, but the game is completely playable without spending anything

No subscriptions, no energy timers, no content locked behind paywalls.

Who's it for?

Designed to work for all ages — simple enough for kids, with enough scoring depth to keep adults coming back for high scores. Great for short sessions or longer play.

11 languages supported.

Hello everyone.

I'm having issues with the parking sensors on my Taycan. The system is flagging obstacles on the right hand side that aren't there. It seems to think objects are closer than they are. One of the rear sensors has been replaced under warranty, but the issue is still present. More recently I have a message popping up stating "Park assist unavailable. Front sensor dirty". Porsche said that they struggled to recalibrate the sensors and blamed the PPF that is applied to the front bumper, claiming it was affecting the sensors. Does anyone know if the PPF shown in the pictures would affect their performance? The film is clearly nowhere near the centre ring. Any advice much appreciated. Thank you.
