Budget is 3k CAD, so this is slightly over (oof on the damn rise in prices) but I think manageable assuming it all looks good.

Everything compatible? Any suggestions on changes? .. wondering if there is a nicer looking case for roughly same money as well (maybe Lian Li Vector V100R ATX Mid Tower?)

I also found a bundle on sale where I can get the 9800x3D along with the exact same ram and motherboard for $100 less than the 7800x3d and ram/motherboard on this build sheet separately, so I will likely get that.

Never built anything before so hoping i've got the right idea here.

Playing 1440p and mostly single player games + some VR with Quest3 (cyberpunk, diablo 4, resident evil games, kingdom come 2, half life alyx as examples)

Looking for my first gaming PC. Need to go prebuilt as i'm just too overwhelmed with the idea of finding all the parts and building right now. Budget is 2500-3000 canadian. Looking to mainly play single player games in 1440, hopefully max settings with good fps. Cyberpunk, Baldurs Gate 3, Expedition 33, Diablo 4, Kingdom Come 2. I'd also like to use my Quest 3 to steam link VR games like HL Alyx.

7800x3d + 9070xt seems to be a good combo from what i've read, but I can't seem to find a prebuilt with that for under 3k CAD (other than this "AZZA" brand one that i'm not so sure about...)

The "AZZA" one (reviews dont sound great on there)

or how about this one with the 5070? (my understanding is the CC Armory ones are decent, plus I can get it in person at the store)

Looking to get my first gaming PC. I’m in Canada and budget is around 2500-2800 CAD

Would like to play things on Ultra or as high as possible. 1440. Mostly single player games, Cyberpunk, recent Indiana jones, oblivion remaster, expedition 33, etc. also looking to play VR through steam link with my quest 3 like HL Alyx

Was thinking 7800x3d plus 9070xt combo but only one I’ve found is AZZA brand?

I was looking at these 2

https://www.canadacomputers.com/en/gaming-desktop-pcs/272850/msi-aegis-zs2-amd-r7-7800x3d-rtx-5070-32gb-ram-2tb-ssd-w11h-aegis-zs2-c7nvp-1446us.html

First one is MSI which I’ve heard of but has 5070, and 2nd has the 9070xt but I’ve never heard of this AZZA brand. It says “component brands may vary” which is odd and some reviews there complain about only 1 32gb ram instead of 2 16gb (though seems mixed, guess that’s the “may vary” part..)

Any thoughts if either of these are ok? Which is better? Or links to another build that’s better?

Hey all, looking for some recommendations for prebuilts in the $2-3k range (Canadian). Maybe a few suggestions in my range (and maybe some slightly over if it's worth it). I haven't had a gaming PC before (only consoles) and it's overwhelming trying to figure out what is good value and performance...

This is the monitor I have , (I know I should get something with a better refresh rate, but it's what I have for now), aiming to game in 1440

I mostly play single player games, or co-op games, not really into competitive shooters. Cyberpunk, that recent Indiana Jones game, Expedition 33, Diablo 4, PoE 2, Fallout/ElderScrolls (Oblivion remaster), new horror games like Resident Evil, maybe Helldivers 2, Baldurs Gate 3 - being able to run some mods on different games that have them would be nice.

I also have a Meta Quest 3 and would like to possibly connect with SteamLink for something like Half Life Alyx and try other PC VR titles.
