Few days ago, I cleaned my pc and reapplied thermal paste. Before changing my paste, the idle temp was consistently around 38-42 celcius, and after changing it, temp won't go below 60. I thought it was faulty cooler, something not being plugged in properly or paste application going wrong. But after 4 days off rechecking everything. It seems it has something to do with voltage or CPU clocking. When I open task manager temp goes down to 42 celcius. I don't think it's malware as the load never really goes over 10-13% and me never downloading anything sketchy. What should I do?

Hello guys. So I just cleaned my pc and reapplied my thermal paste. Before I cleaned, CPU idle temp was around 36-41 degree celcius. Now it's around 52-60. Everything is working in order. Pump, CPU fan, case fans. I use deepcool LS520 SE digital 360mm fans for my cpu. Changed the thermal paste three times now. All in different shapes. Temp is still the same. Is it possible that the BIOS settings reset to default after taking the cpu out? CPU fan is at 1650-1670RPM, Pump is around 3150RPM and the case fans is are around 760RPM. Should increase the case fans RPM? Is 760 average or lower than average?
