I am absolutely not tech savvy.
Tried to connect my X4 to my macbook, through Chrome. Went to the website with crosspoint. Connected with a cable, got a pop up to connect, but after clicking 'save full flash' absolutely nothing happens. No loading bar whatsoever. Nothing to save.
How to get past that point?
So after scrolling through this reddit sub I thought I would see if I had an old phone I could use as an dap.
I found an old htc sense wildfire that is so small I thought it would be good to try. Has bluetooth, a sd card and a 3.5 mm jack. Battery is charging as we speak and it started up perfectly. I will have to find out how the battery life will hold.
It this phone is an option, where can I start? How to get rid of all apps/unneccessary storage? For context, 45 year old old person with no experience with software/hardware tinkering
Thought it would be fun. As a back up I also have a newer version htc (but bigger) and an old samsung.
