Looks like they got in front of any potential managerial tricks… the pitcher must be designated by the defense before the batter is selected. Now if they could fix the showdown ball 4 rule.

So looks like there wasn’t too much clowning around and the games were actually good. Did they get the memo from the April tournament that playoff bananaball is the best thing ever? I hope this sticks, this sport is the best thing to happen to baseball. Anyone agree?
