What’s the trick to getting these? I’m in k club but class of 26 so of course didn’t get to purchase any myself. Just attended 2 games and watched the event pages like a hawk with no luck. Saw many wanting them too, but no one selling. Do people typically not sell these after purchasing? I’m not new to banana ball, but new to the club and actually getting access to games so I’m still learning. Attending 2 more games later this year and if there are any tips or anything else I should try I’m all ears. Oh, and are people allowed to offer to pay more than face value for them? Thanks!
ETA: I’m not selling tickets for more money guys, I’m just asking if offering more to buy them being that they’re in high demand is something people do. I know putting them up for sale for more than face value is a no-no, I’m simply asking whether buyers offer more for them since they seem to be a hot commodity. Never said I was doing that or would do it. I’m simply asking if that’s a thing that happens in the group. Sounds like it’s not which I’m actually relieved to hear.
At Thursday's Coconuts vs PA game in Vegas, my wife and I handed out keychains she made with the team logos and a dedication to my mom. She loved Banana Ball and I had plans to take her to a game in Salt Lake City, except that she passed away a few weeks ago. We just wanted her to be there in spirit with us.
We gave keychains to players, fans, and some of the staff, including AJ. I told him the story and he was touched.
Later, during the pre-show party, we noticed that he had clipped the keychain to his belt. He wore it there all night. That meant so much to me.
Another example of how Fans First isn't just an empty slogan.

They just posted a surprise pop up game in Texas tonight at a local high school. First come first serve, 1000 capacity and free of charge! That’s wild!
I’m very slowly wrapping my brain around banana ball scoring. I know each team can only score 1 point per inning and the highlighted square denotes who won the inning (the number is runs) except for the 8th when time ran out and the 9th tiebreakers then the number is points, but after seeing this final scoreboard for the Coconuts vs Party Animals, can someone confirm for me — the runs tally for the Coconuts is wrong, yes? They should only have 9 runs or am I missing something?
Has anyone actually heard of someone’s tickets being taken from the bananas due to reselling them for profit? I purchased from someone on Facebook for well over $40 each. I saw people commenting on Facebook saying they will report this individual and they could get their tickets taken away. The tickets are in my account now, but is there anyway the bananas could remove them? I paid already so would be completely screwed out of money.
Also I know we’re not supposed to pay resellers, but I was desperate…
Thanks in advance all!!
Thinking beyond just getting another network or streaming service to pick up Stumble for a second season, what about pitching (no pun intended 😂) a Stumblers/Banana Ball union? The Buttons, and maybe even other METHS Conference squads?, would be a step up from the Man-Nanas and the Banana Ball season falls between semesters at Heådltston and SDSJC, which would leave plenty of time for the cheer team(s) to record their own bts webisodes for the ongoing mockumentary, which had to switch to airing on social media after being dropped by the network in favor of [insert a rotating crop of more and more ridiculous reality shows, each featuring cameos by Krystal 😉].
The show and the league could do some great cross-promotions, and if it works, then it also takes care of the “What happens after they graduate?” question, in the sense that the league cheerleading gig isn’t limited to students, so Steven can still fulfill his cheer dreams even if he finally gets a diploma! For squad members who weren’t doing their own stunts on the show, the heavy emphasis on dancing and entertainment over strictly athletic prowess works in their favor; they could have the possibility of just doing the juco cheer videos, or they could have dance roles in the sideline cheering without having to do stunts or tumbling. And 🍌🥎 players could easily be written into the webisode series as recurring or guest characters…
Does anyone else see the vision? And does anyone have any connections to Jesse Cole & co? I think joining up with the Stumblers might appeal to him because Courteney and Boon’s story is similar to him and his wife, without the injury bit, and Sallie’s story would be a good complement to their work with foster children.
Thoughts?
I hate that you can't sell your ticket until the week before. I have tickets for 5/14. I've asked people I know. But I really don't want to get stuck with them.
I thought about selling them on stubhub, but that seems shady. But they would defintely sell on there because I would sell them for face value and not the $349 for SRO currently. 349?!?!?!? I hate scalpers.
Do y'all think I will really be able to sell them on Fansfirst? I know they are really popular, but still.
The Savannah Bananas games last weekend averaged 365K viewers per game on ESPN/2
streamscoop.substack.comI just got my official seat assignments for the Atlanta game next Friday, May 8th. Super excited but then I saw they put me and my family in the very last row of the upper deck. I know it’s pretty random and somebody has to get those seats, but it put a bit of a damper on my excitement.
Not sure how comparable it will be for other stadiums, but has anyone else been put up in the nosebleeds, and what was your experience like? I’m considering just spending most of our time adventuring on the lower level concourses so they can get a good view of the game and entertainment.
I’m going to tomorrows game (5/02) in College Station at Kyle field. The randomly assigned seats I got are nose bleeds all the way in the “outfield” in section 346 but there’s so much open area, what are they going to do with it all? I’m worried about not being able to see anything because of how far it is, have they played at a stadium this big before?
We have tickets for a Coconuts vs Party Animals. It just occurred to me that no Jesse, Man Nannas etc. so who runs the show?
