One chassis, multiple bodies.

Well this is a way to save some money! I was able to modify these two bodies so that they would both fit interchangeably on this Karnage chassis. Weight and balance differences made this a bit of a challenge, but playing with the ride height and shock placement made it work! I’m happy with the outcome as this will free up a chassis for another project.

I’m sure that a lot of you are probably doing this as well and just curious as to what bodies you all are running on the same chassis.

Hi all, I come from the SCX24 crawler world and I’m trying to match this blue hue for my Hilux build. I have done some research and it looks like TS-10 French Blue might be a close match. But I also ran saw samples of TS-23 Light Blue and it looks better. What makes it difficult to match is the lighting that the photos were taken in so I hope that someone on here has used either of the candidates and can chime in.

First photo is the color I’m trying to match. Second photo is a sample of TS-10 French blue, the third is TS-23 light blue and fourth photo is my Hilux build.

I purchased the links and the skid several months ago just because. I really didn’t have a plan for them until I saw this SDRC Hilux body. I am pleasantly impressed with the quality of this print and the way it looks!

I am using the tried and true Karnage V3 chassis for this build as well as a Mazz body mount in the front. The body tapers in towards itself at the bottom so I had some difficulty choosing the sliders. Fortunately I have an unused YepSpec chassis laying around and the skids from it fit perfectly.

At this moment I’m playing around with body placement before setting everything else in place. I also will need to replace the Mini Komodo motor with something smaller since the interior plate doesn’t fit with it. I’m considering the BKTT Icing or the MoFo Nanobam.
