Summer drop in Canada

Has anyone in Canada (I live in Edmonton if that helps any) seen or bought bears from the new summer collection? I'm mainly interested in the shark but I'm not sure what the stock will be like, or if we even have the summer drop right now.

Struggling connecting to wifi

I have no idea what’s going on with my phone and I need some help. I’m connected to a network that I have used many times before. It keeps switching between 5G, and Wifi without me doing anything. There are multiple other devices in my home that are connected just fine and aren’t having any issues. Turning off cellular does nothing, because I just lose wifi every couple seconds. I’ve tried forgetting the network and rejoining, and restarting my phone and it hasn’t fixed anything. It’s also not a dead spot in my home, it does this no matter where I am. I have an iPhone 13, and it doesn’t need any software updates.

Connected to Wifi, but also not?

My Chromebook is having a problem with the wifi. It says “connected, but no internet”. I have no idea what that means. It’s up to date and my phone and multiple other devices are running just fine on the same network. How do I fix this?

Guess everything good is gone now

Was wondering why my chat was so awful today, and keeps talking for my character, then I checked the chat style. All legacy chats are gone. Can’t believe we’re being forced to use such a crap chat like pipsqueak. This sucks.

So, I had my last of three training days yesterday, and I start my first real shift of taking tables tomorrow. I’m okay with our menu but I have to learn how to pronounce some things since it’s all in Italian, and have to learn what the dishes look like because we have no photos on our menu. I can do that easy from my home.

What I’m worried about is serving alcohol. My second and third day of training, I didn’t see my trainer pour anything. I don’t know how it’s done with wine at tables, and I don’t even know how much goes in a glass. Our wine menu is extremely hard to find online, and I myself know absolutely nothing about alcohol as I don’t drink.

How can I know I’ll be giving good service to customers when it comes to serving alcohol when I know next to nothing about it? I barely remember how I was shown to pour wine on my first shift.

I absolutely hate Pipsqueak. It doesn’t work right and doesn’t even have good flow of conversation. It sucks. Are any of the other chat styles close to Roar? It’s what I used before it stupidly got removed.

I thought that the deletion of the legacy models, more specifically Roar, would be a slow roll out. I was wrong. Every chat I’ve ever had on this app has used Roar. Just earlier today they were still set to Roar, yet here I am being forced to use whatever the hell pipsqueak is.

I’ve seen a lot of posts and the goat always has its arm in a t-pose position. Does anybody know if there’s a way you could get it stuffed and still have the arms be a little more moveable? Every goat I’ve seen has had really stiff looking arms

For some background, I literally just had my first training shift as a server today. I felt like an idiot. I’m also neurodivergent and take things very literally, which probably didn’t help my case.

While I was training today, I could not hold plates. They were just standard plates, nothing on them and I was being taught how to hold two in one arm. One close to my elbow, tucked in and the other on another “level” being held between my thumb and pinky, my other three hands supporting it. I could not do that. I also have smaller hands (idk if that affects it, it probably does.) Thumb and pinky felt very uncomfortable and when I tried to adjust, the person that was training me said I shouldn’t do that and I should keep trying to do it the way she said. Is there another way to hold two plates in one hand? I also have hyper mobility in my hands and fingers, idk if that would change things.

Another thing I did absolutely horribly was grating cheese. It’s the same type of grater that Olive Garden uses, and I could not use it. I was not getting cheese out like everyone else was, and my grip strength for whatever reason was absolutely awful. I don’t know what I did wrong, and no one told me how to fix it.

I have no restaurant experience whatsoever. I’ve only done retail-ish jobs (once at bass pro shops and another at a mall in my city doing guest service work.) I know it was my first day, but I felt awful! I felt like I made a fool out of myself in front of customers and I don’t know what to do. I have another shift tomorrow and I am already dreading it.

Just finished watching this, it was great! I had heard that it was good but hadn’t been able to watch it anywhere until now. I saw it on TUBI. If you’ve seen it, what did you think?
