Coming over to California in September and doing LA, Vegas and San Diego. Just wondered if there’s any places commutable from SD with a good / underrated nightlife scene, or bar hopping / day drinking scene.
For context, 24m solo Brit
Edit : I meant like cities and other towns near LA or near SD, not bar recommendations in San Diego. Keep them coming though, everything helps !!

Re-posting cause missed some points. Wanted to ask on average how much tickets are? Are they difficult or easy to get, do I need to join a queue like some ticketmaster gigs lol. Any recommendations for where to sit, how to get there, tailgating etc.
Visiting LA for the first time from sunny England in September solo, so want to get to as many rams games as possible.

Just wondered if anyone can weigh in on which hostel would be better to stay in? Both are not far from good public transport links, but unsure which is better for meeting people, going out at night, cooking & eating, also looking for some privacy at night (curtained bed)
