Laptop Freezing and Shutting down
Hi all,
Over the past couple of days my laptop has been randomly freezing for about 20 seconds and then shutting down, requiring me to fully power it back on. This occurs without fail when I am using it, between 10 minutes to 2 hours after powering it back on again. It's also happened while doing a variety of tasks, whether I have a like 20 tabs open or just one file in vscode.
It's an ASUS Zenbook 14inch OLED I think, with a 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900H (2.60 GHz) processor.
About the time this started I downloaded a driver for an arduino project from (https://ftdichip.com/drivers/vcp-drivers/), but I have deleted it since then and the issue hasn't gone away. I also spilled a little tea into my bag, but only a little bit got on the outside of my laptop.
Any thoughts on what this could be? I'm happy to give more details if it would help...
