In November 2025, I started on the lowest dose of compound Semaglutide. I tolerated well on the lowest dose until about January then bumped up for about a month and then I bumped up again. I’m currently on the 1.0 MG. Go ahead and contact my doctor as I was needing a refill as each month she only sends in one prescription not for a certain amount of months in advance, so I have to keep reaching out to get another prescription to go pick up.

She informed me over chat that I would need to make an appointment for a follow up to check on progress. My main goal for being on it is prior to being on the shot. I actually had the gastric sleeve where I had lost a good portion of my weight, but was really struggling and a very extended long stall for over nine months the food noise started to come back, although I was choosing the correct options on certain foods I wasn’t losing no matter what I changed. Now since November I’m down to my goal weight that I picked and am maintaining I would like to continue on the shot though as it helps food noise big time I’m worried because I’ve now hit goal she may request I stop or tapper down dosage .

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice or personal experiences.

My daughter was accepted to a private college and we already submitted an appeal for additional financial aid. They reviewed it and did increase her award, which we’re really grateful for. After that, I asked if there was any possibility for further funding, and they said no at this time.

With the May 1st commitment deadline coming up (or just passed), I’ve been reading that sometimes additional funds can become available if students decline their offers.

Has anyone had success reaching back out after May 1st to request more aid? If so, how long did you wait and how did you approach it? I don’t want to come across as pushy since we’ve already appealed once and received additional funds, but we’re still trying to close the gap and make this school work.

I’m hoping that they will have a more clearer picture on who committed and who declined and if additional funding can now be disbursed.

Any insight or advice would be appreciated!
