How do you determine if you have a 6 pack or an 8 pack? I am not sufficiently lean to see all my abs, but what does it seem like from this picture? Is the big blocky structure under my belly button 2 more abs? Do I have the potential for an 8 pack?

How good/bad is my cable crunches form? Is this actively engaging/targeting my abs? I can’t tell because I don’t feel my abs much during this exercise, I have been doing this for the last 6 months. Progressed from 3 plates to almost full stack for 2-3 reps, though I prefer doing a weight I can fail around 8-12 reps at. This also hurts my lower back on many occasions. Is this truly bad form? If yes, how to fix it? Thanks!
