I’m hoping someone can help me identify this backlit display. I’m curious if the taped ribbon connector contacts on the button right might provide any ability to change the backlight level if given the proper connections.

I received this as a gift over ten years ago and it doesn’t appear to have any sort of board of its own, so I assume this predates any convenient solderable button-combo style adjustment. Partly, I’m just curious if anyone knows anything about it.

Every now and then, maybe once every 20-50 clips, the autofocus will bug out for seemingly no reason. The focus will shift in and out rapidly as though it's having a hard time finding focus even in situations where it doesn't seem to make sense and the native camera app would never have any issue at all. This has happened in high and low contrast scenes, closeup and wide shots, just about anything you can imagine.

In the example clip you'll see the issue at the start. I tap the center of the screen to set AF at about the 5 second mark, and the issue resolves.

If I tap the screen to set the autofocus point, the issue usually resolves with a second. Is this just an issue with their subject detection algorightm being kinda mediocre, or am I doing something wrong?
