Surprised Dragon Ball: GT Transformation wasn’t well received

So when I first got my gameboy advance in 2005, the first game I got was GT transformation which I got from my aunt (rip). And I remember thinking this is one of the best games ever when I was just turning 5.

Now recently I’ve been planning go through the legacy of Goku games cause I only really played Buu’s fury for a lil bit. I remember LOG 2 being considered the best in the series and the first one was trash. But I was surprised to see that GT transformation got poor reviews and sold poorly. I wanted to ask you guys who may have been older at the time or played all the games, why didn’t you enjoy GT transformation? Was it because it was a strong shift in the formula or something else? And there was supposedly suppose to be a sequel which never got released which makes me sad.

And lastly, this is a very strong if, would it be possible to make a fan made sequel of this game?

GbaDev.org 2004 MBit Competition Cartridge?

**NOT SELLING just seeking information**

Purging my life before a move and stumbled on some old games from my DS and pocket. Was trying to figure out if any were worth selling, and it turns out this was a cartridge of the winning games from a competition 22 years ago. Anyone recognize it or have any clue if it's worth anything? My assumption is always "no", to be clear, but I figured I'd check before I chuck it in a tag sale bin! Obviously I tried searching on google, ebay, etc, but all I found was that no one has sold one in recent history for there to be any comps.

Edit: Apparently they made 500 of these and it was the first unlicensed GBA game.

If I'm asking in the wrong place, I apologize and happily accept redirection!

So excited to get one again

Got my hands on a GBA SP tonight. I traded my PS portal for it and it’s the same color as the one my dad got me when I was a kid

Yall think it would come with the game or not? From the condition of the console compared to the game I’d think it would

description of it doesn’t say anything about it not but also nothing about it will but it’s pretty clearly shown in the photos like it’s included, yeah I want a gba and this seems fine for one just have to clean it and replace the plastic above the screen, but with a pokemon silver? yeah great value there if so

really want an og gba, but unsure of 2 things

Do rechargeable batteries work with it, they should, and which types? I've also seen custom cartridges that give all the games, similar to modding a console. So, is there a way to 'mod' the gba?

I have a modified GameBoy advance that I did a couple years back that I’m looking to sell. It has an aftermarket shell and buttons and an IPS back screen with a touch sensor so that you can change screen settings, and the USB-C rechargeable battery mod. What could I reasonably charge for it?

GBA wireless adapter modded with usb-c adapter

I wanted a usb-c adapter I could leave on my lcd modded Game Boy Advance SP and didn't fancy risking the console itself with my dodgy soldering skills. Remembered that.the wireless adapter was pretty secure and might fit the bill. An cheap eBay adapter, a few clips with some wire cutters and a bit of sugru later I had this monstrosity.

Works great and now I can keep my gba in my bag full time without needing to carry a separate charger. I even kept the original innards too but God knows if they're still working.

Help identifying GBA backlit screen

I’m hoping someone can help me identify this backlit display. I’m curious if the taped ribbon connector contacts on the button right might provide any ability to change the backlight level if given the proper connections.

I received this as a gift over ten years ago and it doesn’t appear to have any sort of board of its own, so I assume this predates any convenient solderable button-combo style adjustment. Partly, I’m just curious if anyone knows anything about it.

Asking for a similar game: Twin Towers LoTR

I am looking for a game similar to Twin Towers LoTR, Son of Gana and sorta like Zelda? Are there any other fantasy games other than those three on the GBA?

Kururin! 🐦

I recently picked up copies of my two favourite GBA puzzles games!

Kuru Kuru Kururin and Kururin Paradise.

I was able to get Kuru Kuru Kururin from a local shop, and Kururin Paradise from Mercari.

These are honestly two of my favourite GBA games - such fun and challenging puzzle games!

Any other Kururin fans here? 🙏

I just bought my first sp online and I was wondering is this the normal screen? It's much dimmer than I expected especially because the sp is supposed to be brighter compared to the regular gba. Is there a way to know if the screen has been changed?
