hi I was wondering how I could look better as a girl?
I have straight dark eyebrows, I have a bit of a unibrow but I get it waxed every two weeks. my eyes are on the positive tilt side and have long black lashes. my nose is a bit on the wider side because it is flat. My lips are a decent size but they are very dry. I also have smile lines that are a bit dark. My skin is very oily, i definitely need a new skincare routine. My teeth are straight from braces and are decently white but could be a bit whiter. My jawline is also a bit weak but I’m thin with high cheekbones. Idk if this description is helpful with no pictures. I’m really trying to improve before next school year. I feel like I’m decent looking but I never get approached by boys? Only boys younger than me or of my same race.

I have this friend, we used to be friends a few years ago but stopped speaking. We also dated back then briefly but we were both very young. probably around age 9 - 11 at the time.
We have recently reconnected and we kinda just have this weird flirty friendship going on. We call for long periods of time like 5+ hours. I can’t tell if he likes me or not because this has been going on for about 5 months now.
He’s very private about his life from when we weren’t speaking. Recently he’s opened up to me a lot about his family and friends. We talk about relationship stuff like stuff we like in relationships for example he likes communication so we both make sure to clearly communicate our feelings to eachother and stuff.
We fought a while ago about our feelings because he felt we weren’t talking much deeply, and I told him that he upset me because I really care about him and our relationship and he told me he was sorry and that he just wants to have deeper conversations with me.
He compliments me a lot on certain things about me like my smile my laugh things like that. Lately I just can’t even tell what’s going on anymore like if we are talking if we like eachother if we are just friends I’m hella confused.
I want to ask him out or just ask him what we are but I’ll feel super embarrassed if I’m rejected and I don’t want to lose our friendship. I must add we are both very avoidant feelings wise.
I’m not one to talk about how I feel because it makes me feel super embarrassed. but I’ve been trying for him and he gets that and he’s been doing the same.
He’s always kinda coaching me through that type of stuff and always encouraging me to speak to him about how I feel even though it honestly makes me feel very embarrassed. He told me that communication is very important in romantic relationships
if I shoot my shot is it green? Or should I wait for him to do it?
