Okay so the game is on my radar since a year or 2, but the YouTube content doesn't convince me, mostly it's 20 minute videos of people screaming and killing each other, which is... not what I'm looking for, on the other hand the game looks dark, hard and with a fair share of grinding, but then I can't find a single video that's not just about a clown knocking the captain and the whole krew chasing it while being eaten by a creature 6 times bigger than the sub.

Soooo... what keeps you playing the game ?

I have no idea how I did it, I was a parasite on single player on mega brutal, no scenarios, no nothing, can't find it in the wiki, what is that and how I got it ?

So I've done some experimenting, and this is as bad as you can go, after the eldar attack you can get 3 limbs amputated and your face destroyed, I tried to amputate the last leg but the game won't let that happen, mines, enemies, infections, it's just impossible by design, so this is as bad as you can get, but you can stabilize, with enough med...

Once you stop dying, it's time to take the neural booster, first one does almost nothing, the second one gives some effects... I will experiment more but from what I see you would need multiple neural boosters to make the character able to walk and jump properly.

To be honest I would like to see someone make a challange out of that, spawn with no limbs, blind and no jaw, and just... play.

Also you may notive that I can see "well", turns out the second neural booster negates blindness filter, although things are fusy, it's not black screen, I'm sure it's a bug but to be honest I would like to keep it that way, or at least have some advanced structure or drug that makes you "regrow" eyes and maybe even the limbs and jaw...

So after playing around on sandbox, I conclude that you can take more than 1 neural booster, in fact, you can take as many as you want.
The only downside is that you will become blind, but all the effects can be mitigated with enough meds.

In short, you will need an Auto pump (just in case), a combat pen, pro coagulant, Streptokinase, antiserum, Naletroxone, oioids (fentanyl), relief cream or bruise kit, Brain grow and a shit ton of food and water.

Put on the pump, then take the neural booster, you will ragdoll and suffer for a bit, once you regain control, inject the opioids for the pain.
Then inject antiserum in the stomach and take the Neletroxone to reduce sepsis and sickness.
Inject pro coagulant to reduce internal bleeding, if it make a clot after, use Streptokinase to get rid of it.
Apply bruis kit and/or relief cream to the chest and rest of the body (you'll need more than one).
Eat and drink the whole time.
Wait 20 minutes, keep applying meds as needed and eating and drinking.
Finally use brain grow to recover 100%.

Use combat pen if your heart gives up.

Now repeat as much as you want, and accept you will be blind.
