I know its because I'm still traumatized from watching Courage the Cowardly Dog as a child. Katz will never not scare the crap outta me and Pete the cat has that same angular art style. My 7 yr old is unfortunately obsessed with reading all the pete the cat. Now I'm forced to relive all my elder millennial trauma.....
