One of my character references on my CCW permit application has a felony conviction. Does this matter?

I presume the M20A-FXS had minute changes between the 25 and 26 model lines where 0W-8 is now the officially recommended viscosity, in place of 0W-16. Do we know exactly what those changes are?
If in applying for this document you may qualify for one pathway, but definitely qualify for the other, will the USCIS officer automatically chose the appropriate one? Or deny your application and make you appeal for consideration under the other?
Good day,
In my N600 application I supplied an original (stamped & signed by the consul) translation of my Turkish birth certificate.
In addition, I supplied my original Turkish Certificate of Renunciation which I needed to commission in the US military and acquire a "Secret" security clearance (coincidentally cleared by the DoD & DHS themselves). I also provided a certified translation. The renunciation certificate has all of the same information my original birth certificate has, including parents names. If you're familiar with Turkish birth certificates it's the blue laminated document.
My question is, for the USCIS officer will both of these documents suffice in place of the original blue Turkish birth certificate, which has been lost/destroyed?
All of my other documents - mother's NY birth certificate, her US passport with stamps at the time of my birth, my US passport, NY divorce decree establishing custody, and supplemental evidence is in order. The larger question of N600 approval or not is not truly my concern. I simply want to know whether or not I should expect an RFE.
