Hey everyone,

I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone avoid the same situation or recover their money.

I was trying to buy an expensive item and the seller sent me a PayPal invoice. Everything looked legit — the item was clearly described in the invoice, so I paid thinking I was protected by PayPal.

After payment, the seller disappeared and never shipped anything. When I opened a dispute, the seller suddenly claimed it was “for a service” instead of a physical item, which made things more complicated.

At first, PayPal denied my case, saying the transaction wasn’t covered by buyer protection. It was frustrating and honestly felt unfair.

But I didn’t stop there. Here’s what helped me eventually recover my money:

- I appealed the case multiple times and clearly explained that the invoice described a physical item.
- I kept pushing PayPal support and insisted on escalation.
- I gathered all evidence (invoice, messages, proof there was no tracking).
- I contacted higher-level support and filed formal complaints.
- I stayed persistent and didn’t accept the first decision.

After going through all of this, I finally managed to get my money back.

If you’re in a similar situation, don’t give up after the first rejection. Keep pushing, collect your proof, and escalate your case as much as possible.

If anyone is dealing with something similar and needs guidance, feel free to ask. I’ll try to help.

Stay safe out there.

After a long time thinking… I pulled the trigger.

This helmet is on another level. Comfort, aero, everything feels premium.

No regrets
