Is a pet councilor (for people) a thing?

I teach social science but haven't taught for 5 years because I was sick for 4+ of them. I need to work and feel useful but feel weak. I worked at the zoo for years and always took care of people's pets when needed. I know both human and pet psychology, as far as much as you can call it animal psychology because you can equate most to smart or not so smart children...

But basically the idea is I would teach the humans what the pet is saying through nonverbal communication and how to fix behavioral issues. This is different between species and most humans can look it up for themselves but do not and wonder why their adorable "friend" is screaming and scratching when the owner just wants a hug.

I was hit by a car and had a complete retinal detachment so they did lasering and had to ... Not wanting to trigger nightmares but giant needles and I woke up half way through because ? But I heard red heads need 20% more sedation and I guess it is true. Doctors were panicking and trying to make me not move as I was trying to apologize for moving but it hurt, they later apologized that I was completely conscious and told me to tell doctors I need more anesthesia than normal...

But they literally make horror movies about this stuff and I can't not remember it every time my eye itches or I see any bright green light.

*Edit. Same thing happened when I was 10 and had eye surgery for a different reason and they were... doing things to my eye. being vague because horror.

Events are garbage when everyone tries to out DPS others and go all out. If they made enemies tougher it would screw newbies... It is very easy to have a couple of splash tag weapons in your wheel... If it seems like you actually need to be over powered that is fine but keep in mind the new players, if they can't even tag anything they will get discouraged.

In the last 5 head hunts I've taken out, level 900ish, I've only been able to tag a small fraction of enemies before they are all obliterated.

Long story short, old lady, can't use tech, but she is interested in getting a voice activated computer because she can't type.

Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US:

Least expensive?

Are you open to refurbs/used?

Maybe, if good condition.

How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?

AI help for an old lady, voice compatibility, able to hear quieter people since she is quiet now.

How important is weight and thinness to you?

Not really, but she has mobility issues with Parkinson's so not too heavy...

Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.

Maybe indifferent but she has to be able to see it so largest at lowest price.

Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.

Nope haha.

If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?

Even more no.

Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?

AI/Voice activation, anything that would help an old lady who has had a bad history with tech.

Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.

Abstract - how do I help my grandmother use tech? She is alone most of the time and lonely, doesn't have much to do, has a bunny ear TV, and crap I just realized she doesn't have internet but that can be fixed...

In the last year probably half of the orders were consistently cancelled - and I don't advertise, so that hurts my wallet, and all the tier fees take half my profit? Thaaaaaanks.

Is Redbubble dead, or am I doing something wrong? Used to be profitable and I could get some good food every now and then. Starving artist haha.

They really isolated all their artists by taking out all communication they could and then raised fees when no one could do anything about it. It used to be a friendly place with community...
