My baby just turned 1, so I need to upgrade her car seat and I am overwhelmed by the options 😅

For parents who have already gone through this, which features actually ended up being worth it and which ones were unnecessary?

Things I am debating:

1. Separate base vs no base
2. 0 to 8 years seat vs 0 to 4 years
3. 360 degree swivel/turn feature

Anything else I should really be considering before buying?

Would love to hear what worked well for you in real life, especially for daily use and travel.
