Flexispot PC cradle wobble normal?

Hello,

I just set up my Flexispot E7 Pro yesterday along with the cradle. The cradle bracket is solid but where the 180 degree mechanism is seems quite shaky at times when actually touching the PC. I did try and tight because I didn't want my PC to be able to rotate at all while mounted as it's a serious hazard when the desk moves up and down.

Not sure if anyone else has one of the Flexispot CPU Cradles set up and experiences a similar thing?

I'm guessing everything will be okay but it's quite sketchy as I would hate for the cradle to break at the 180 degree pivot point as I feel like that part of the design is flawed especially with no way to tighten it. Not sure why anyone would want a mounted PC to be free moving potentially knocked by legs etc. Seems like a lot of wobble for something that should be quite stable.

I have a feeling most just buy third party cradles as I can barely find any reviews or videos on the CPU holder.

First home boiler issue or not?

Hello,

I’m the furthest thing from an expert in this field but what I can gather from reading the user guide on the boiler manual is that the boiler should stay between 1-2.
However everything works as it should when it knows to heat up either by turning hot taps or turning a thermostat for central heating.

I’m having an issue with a ProCombi Exclusive 24 and was serviced by Britishgas within the last month. The seller did this so it gave me confidence however the first thing I noticed was the pressure sits at 0.3 when the boiler is no in use but its code on the screen means it’s on standby awaiting hot water or central heating which is normal. When the hot water is turned on the pressure builds up and sits at 1 until it goes back in standby and then it drops again and the same happens with central heating but whilst all this happens the codes display correctly as if nothings wrong.

Should the boiler be dropping pressure at all?
Is this a normal thing for boilers that have a standby mode?
Should I just leave it as it is because it works and has been serviced?

Any help is appreciated.
Cheers

Hello,

I exchanged contracts on Friday just gone and I get the keys Tuesday.

I've been so put off making any purchases for anything over £100 as I've read up that it's not a good idea until you get the keys. I have some personal savings that aren't anything related to the sale just income I have saved up for furniture in the meantime.

I also need to send some funds back to family that had helped during the process. Can I start re-paying them back and purchasing furniture upwards of £1000 or is it really not best to make any payments until I get the keys?

I get you need to look like you can handle your funds so it looks good during the process but surely I can relax now. I'm just ready to start purchasing furnitre and getting excited about moving in without feeling the restrictions/worry of things falling through!

When did everyone else start spending normally again?

Hello,

Looking to get new chair and start looking after my health better for my long 8-10+ hour sitting sessions a day. I use a big cheap office chair at the moment and it has comfy cushion but lacks lumbar support and upper back support.

There is a lot of option but I can’t test them and would like to avoid returning. There’s so much hype around the Herman miller embody but a hefty price tag. So was going to look at a potential second hand one but have seen a lot of bad reviews about the chair.

The omni looks quite good but has its downsides and is still very expensive.

I know everyone is different so it will be trial and error.

What are people currently using and what is worth the money.

I’m also from the UK so not sure what is actually available.

Cheers.

Hello,

Any suggestions for decently priced standing desks that are stable for multiple monitors especially at height.

I love the look at Dezctops selection especially the Revon Pro/Elite however looks like I would be waiting for delivery which could take a while and be costly.

Are there any other good options that would come sooner, be cheaper and have similar accessories.

So far I’ve looked at Flexispot, IKEA, Vernal, Dezctop.

Any stand out ones that anyone can recommend?

Cheers
