Been going back and forth on the sub reddit so thanks to all the kind folks that helped me!

Notes on the Build:

The CPU, mother board, and ram pricing is weird. And ( I think) without context its weird I went with AM5 instead of AM4.

CPU, mother board, and ram are in a bundle from micro center. The price of the bundle is on the CPU being 350$. And the price on the ram is for 1 stick of ram as the bundle only gives you one. So, the reason why the ram price is 175$ ( instead of the going rate of 209$) is because that was the most common price on Ebay.

The reason why I got AM5 is because I wanted wifi and at least a 16GB of ram. The AM4 bundles had wifi but only 16GB total. Or wouldn't have the motherboard wouldn't have wifi.

The GPU is 420$ at micro center which I put there because.... reddit said it was good...

And the SSD is just a place holder for any used 1tb NVME SSD deal on ebay.

I did have to raise the budget so ima have to save longer but I feel it will be worth it..

The budget was less than 1000$ and the total was ~1300

Im only seeing a AM5 with a mother board with Wifi ( unless Im blind ) so Im hoping Micro center has inn store deals...

if not the AM5 is still a good deal Im not complaining, just slightly more expensive...

Im trying to build a PC I already have a CPU. The Ryzen 5 5600x. But I can sell that and this one would be better right?

I heard that micro center was great for deals so I dont think its a scam..

and was actually had been recommended and was going to get the ASRock Challenger 9060 XT for a GPU cause it was a great deal...

But with this deal and the GPU deal?

That leaves me about 230$ for everything else...

Would it be ether the bundle or the GPU; if any are good?

If so which one?

Maybe find some deals on FB marketplace and Ebay?

I also found this MSI AMD B550M PRO-VDH WIFI AM4 Micro ATX DDR4 SDRAM Motherboard on eBay. Someone out bid me at 47$ but if I dont get this bundle should I bid this motherboard for max 50$?

And found this SSD card; **Genuine SAMSUNG 980 PRO w/ Heatsink 1 TB SSD 4.0 NVMe MZ-V8P1T0 (VG),**bid is at 102$ now but if its good what would the max bid be?

I want to start backing up my files.

But Im a total noob.

I know that youre suppose to have multiple backups but can't tell the difference between a hard drive and a flash drive for example... Do I need both?

Can I get recommendations?

If this is important it will be used for:

Important docs

Art work

Animation

Windows

and a library of sorts

I thought after a while PC parts would go down. It hasn't...

Now Im getting impatient..

My original budget was 700ish USD.

My question is what should I realistically raise the price to?

The computer will be for:

Light to mid gaming ( it doesnt have to run GTA 6 ( when ever that comes out ) but my last computer that died was struggling with sims 4 and Minecraft...

Art. After getting my new computer I plan to do commissions. This computer needs to handle bigger files than my iPad. This is just to help image quality for future clients as I will be getting external hard drives to save all my work

Streaming. I will try streaming and want it to look decent.

I already have already have a Ryzen 5 CPU and monitors are not included in the budget.
