I read the seven year slip last year and absolutely loved it. I went into it not really knowing what to expect but it turned out to be one of those books that make you cry but give you hope at the same time. The mix of romance and magic yet still being mature was perfect. I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump recently so I’m looking for a book that would possibly ignite a similar feeling. Doesn’t have to have time travel elements but if it does that would be great.

I was reading say you’ll remember me by Abby Jimenez but it hurts to say after pushing and forcing myself to 80% I just could not bring myself to finish it.

Hi everyone!

My (28F) hairline has been uneven since i was a kid. I used to pull my hair back with a hair band a lot back then and I think that caused some kind of traction alopecia on the left side of my forehead.

I don’t know how noticeable it is in these zoomed in pictures but from far away the baby hair is not visible so it literally looks like a bald patch. It also causes my center part to be weirdly shaped and i can never make it fully straight because the baby hair just go in whichever direction they want to.

I usually just keep my hair open and at most tie it up with a hair clip but I’m very conscious of not pulling on this side of my hair. I’ve been spraying rosemary water and doing scalp massages to see if it helps. So far no difference. Have never used minoxidil and don’t think i want to since I’ve heard it migrates and causes signs of aging? Have on and off trichotillomania but thats mostly in my center part (you can see the growing hair because of that in the 2nd picture)

I’m south asian and otherwise have healthy hair. Oil my hair regularly as well but this patch just does not get better.

Has anyone had a similar problem or anyone who successfully made their baby hair thicker and longer? Any tips or suggestions would be highly appreciated!

Hi everyone! I'm moving to Detroit for work and am eyeing Royal Oak as its close to my hospital (Sinai-Grace). I would really appreciate any recommendations for apartments for rent. Currently, I'm eyeing District Royal Oak.

My budget is around $1300 since I need to factor in car related payments, and Dr pay in Detroit is tough, ngl.

I don't have crazy demands either. I would prefer having an in-unit W/D and a covered garage.

Any opinions would be deeply appreciated!

People in Detroit, where do you guys live? I'm moving for residency and can't seem to find a decent place within my budget. I feel like for every option I'm having to sacrifice something or the other. I don't feel like I'm asking for too much though? Just a covered garage, in unit W/D and dishwasher and i'm thinking I have to survive the next 3 years, my home should at least not make me depressed. For the average resident salary in Detroit, I feel like the rent and car payments actually end up being more expensive??? The decent places are all way too out of my budget. Need suggestions for areas and apartment buildings.
