Does the love for gaming ever come back?

How did you guys get back to healthy gaming sessions? Im just at 2 weeks now, everythings coming together and im feeling great, only issue ive had is i dont want to play games. Its stemming from a feeling of not wanting to put the effort into large open world rpgs or big long term survival games, which are 2 of my favorite genres. Ive been leaning more towards short term experiences like roguelikes, which is great i love roguelikes and always have. But i want to get back to vast open worlds and deep stories.

Any tips?

My summer car was too sim heavy for me. Long drive was too minimal. Pacific drive almost hit the spot but i got thrown off by the extraction/rogue like gameplay.

I know this genre is niche but are there any other games im missing?
