Hey all. I'll be playing in two casual coed leagues this year and it's new glove time. I play all over. More infield in one league, more outfield in the other.

I've heard a lot of talk about how the 12.75" 1799/1777 A2000 is the perfect utility glove for slowpitch. I'm down for that, but I'm leaning more towards the 12.5" Horween HoH Pro208 from Don Morton. Unfortunately I can't get my hands on either pattern where I'm located.

How is the Pro208 for slowpitch? I've had a horween HOH before but never for slowpitch. Am I really going to miss the extra .25" if I go that route? How is the 1777?

Let me know your thoughts.

Gloves:

Horween PRO208

Wilson 1777

Been playing for a few years using teammates bats. Usually Louisville Genesis. I was thinking it’s about time I got my own. We use 52s here.

Is there a good time that sales typically hit? Good places to buy? Or any other tips?

I’d like a LS genesis but $350 is a bit tough. Other recommendations would be good too.
