I’m looking to replace my 1799 for slow pitch because it just feels so big and clunky while playing that I almost always default to my old DW5 even though the ball clearly is barely holding in there.
Are there any outfield gloves out there that still feel nimble or snappy like an infield glove while still being able to swallow a softball or am I asking for a unicorn here?
Thoughts on monochrome gloves? This one, I must say, is insane 🤯
Loved the quality my first Asics and saw this and wanted to add a second to the collection.
Its a Special Order model with the Special Overkip but this one feels a little more supple and nicer than the kip on ky Goldstage Ipro. Still very rigid but the handstall on this one is huge compared to my other.
Its comfortable right out of the box and seems like a true 13" glove.
Blue stitching really pops off the black and the web has a nice design on it as well. The welting is killer as well, the split is a great design and brings to life a black glove.
Absolutely love this thing and the quality is outstanding from Asics special order made in Japan.
If you can find one via proxy I highly recommend them.

For those of us "lucky" enough to get in on the $197 PP and $141 HoH deals from Walmart, what "replacement" gloves have you received?
I ordered the RHT black 12.5" HoH ContoUR fit, received a RHT mint 12.75" HoH glove instead.
I ordered the RHT BH3 PP 13" blonde DCT but received a RHT red Correa PP 11.75".
Walmart only offer a refund for the red PP, no option to get a replacement, so I am keeping it.
I returned the mint HoH, and Walmart shipped out a "replacement" yesterday.
Wondering what "replacements" other people have received?
Such a nice glove and not much use.

Just got this absolutely stunning night shift Marucci and it’s Absolutely the stiffest glove I’ve ever put my hands in.
I’ve basically done nothing but play catch as the idea of mallets and hot water make me nervous.
However I’ve noticed on the index finger I’ve developed a slight indent or almost fold where I often catch the ball. It’s like of like the force of the ball is pushing it as it enters the pocket or webbing.
Based on the photos, am I in danger of a poor break in or do I keep sending it. Open to any and all thoughts ! Thank you !

My son is 12 and he's not the biggest kid yet. He's 5 ft and 85 lbs. He has a cheap Youth Mizuno power close glove that has served him well but he's at the stage that he's about outgrown it. I had him look at new gloves at Dicks and the Adult gloves that he tried on are too big still and hard to close. Do they have any gloves that are more Intermediate size and still easy to close for smaller hands? I know for his hockey equipment equipment goes from Junior to Intermediate to Adult but it seems like for baseball it just jumps from really small youth gloves to full size adults or am I missing something? He is primarily an infielder and pitcher. Any recommendations on a next glove? thanks!

Hey everyone, looking for a little advice. I've got a Rawlings heart of the Hide first baseman mitt(Italian Leather). It's basically brand new, my wife never ended up using it when she was playing college ball, so it's not broken in and has never seen game or practice use.

How I wish it was a LHT. As a Yankees fan I obviously prefer the volpe to the Correa but I can’t ever use it as I am a true lefty (even debated learning to throw righty to keep it). I have initiated a return and they said they’ll send me the LHT Harper even before I send it back but I got an email saying they’ll send it only once it’s in transit. I’ll wait a few days to see which it is. Hoping they send me the Harper and charge me another 198 + shipping in which case I’ll keep both and be looking to unload this one. Kind of having fun with this whole predicament tbh
For context, my son is 10 and loves the games. Has been playing competitive ball (infield) for the last 3 years. What’s a great glove I can buy now to play catch with him and which I can eventually pass down to him as a keepsake?
Convince me to keep it or return it. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it. Just wish it was a better color.
