I dated a guy for about two years. He was really in love with me, and I had feelings for him too. During the second year of our relationship, I ended up talking to another guy behind his back. I was drinking a lot, and I would often curse at my partner. He was always very anxious, especially because I frequently lied about where I was sleeping or where I was going. Eventually, he got to the point where he would pull up on me and try to see for himself what I was doing.
I ended up disliking that behavior and started seeing someone else behind his back while still talking to him. I showed him every sign that I wasn’t really with him anymore, but he still held on. I went to a festival, and he found out through an Instagram post from the guy I was talking to that I had been disappearing behind his back. After he found out, I felt really guilty, so I went to his house and told him there wasn’t a low chance that we would get back together after a couple of weeks.
Later, he started posting things with other girls, and I would tell him that I wasn’t going to let another girl “take mine” and ask why he was posting other girls on his story. He ended up screenshotting the messages I sent him and sending them to the guy I’m talking to now. The guy I’m talking to ended up threatening my ex and telling him that he’s gonna pull up to his job if he continues to talk to me or him. And that he’s also taunted him sexually saying he’s gonna go blow my back out now and go cry about it. What should I do?
