Is this damage from acetone?

Hi everyone!

I’ve been growing my nails out since february. Haven’t bitten them except for my index finger since the nail broke and I got tempted lol. I keep nail polish on because my nails are bendy/flimsy and so I don’t get tempted by the free edge. If you look at my ring finger and pinky now that I removed nail polish from a week ago… it seems there is more whiteness right above the free edge, as if the free edge is going towards the base of the nail. Is this damage from acetone nail polish remover? I don’t want my whole nail to eventually look like a white free edge lol

I ordered the soy nail polish remover which is pricey but if it prevents damage then I guess it’s worth if

NYU Langone MFM recommendation for kidney disease?

Hi!

Does anyone here have any experience with NYU Langone Maternal Fetal Medicine in Garden City? Specifically if you have chronic kidney disease, a history of preeclampsia, and high blood pressure. Is there any specific MFM you met with who seems to be more experienced with these complications during pregnancy? Thank you!!

Nyu langone mineola MFM

Hi!

I’m thinking of going to NYU langone for my next pregnancy (the office on franklin ave in garden city). Does anyone have any recommendations on which mfm to see? Specifically if you have hypertension or kidney disease, and if you had preeclampsia? It’s my first time dealing with mfm so i don’t know if all the doctors have the same training or what but i’m sure some might have more specialized interests or focus on certain diseases/complications. Thank you!
