Mass outage

I have reported an outage here in Chelsea Oklahoma and I can't get anybody to come look at the outside lines. The site says there is no reported outage, but there is. Several.

There are several residences and business that have no phone or internet here. There are so many out that our local area newspaper is doing a report on it.

I called the number, reported it on down detector and I cant get anybody to come to the area to look at the outside lines.

DSL Broadand Connection Issue

Hello all,

I use AT&T Uverse Broadband internet. My surface phone jack is old, the screws are rusted, etc.. I went to Radioshack to get a new RJ-11. All they had was a 6-pin. My old one was a 4-pin(red, green, black and yellow). The new one is red, green, black, yellow, white and blue. I installed it and wired it up. Now, the it wont connect. I only use 1 line. Connecting red and green wires to the red and green terminals like before. It still wont connect. Im confused because the screws are a different color than the terminal that they are attached to. Example: the blue terminal has a green screw. Am I doing this wrong?

Idk how to add a photo for reference. But im only using 1 line. Do I need to attach the red wire and green wire to a different screw? I get different answers. Its a 6-pin RJ-11 surface phone jack.

I apologize in advance for any initial confusion.

To help picture it the RJ-11 6-pin goes like this:

[White] [blue]

[Black] [yellow]

[Red] [green]
