Hey everyone,

Me and my wife both have thick curly/wavy hair. We’ve been using Monday Smooth shampoo recently and honestly really like how our hair looks and feels. Before that we used Aussie, Garnier Whole Blends, and OGX.

The only issue is my scalp has started to itch, and I’ve seen others mention that with Monday. Aside from that, the results have been great.

Are there any better alternatives that give a similar smooth, soft result without the scalp irritation? Or is there a kind of “go-to” product people here recommend for this hair type?

Routine:

- Shampoo: Monday Smooth Shampoo

- Conditioner: Not currently using one (planning to try Monday conditioner)

- Styling: None

- Drying: Air dry

Tomorrow we are going grocery shopping and want to try the Monday conditioner. The only issue is my scalp is starting to itch and i saw thats a common issue with Monday but aside from the itch i love how my hair looks and feels with Monday. From all my curly headed friends out there do you have any alternatives you use? Or is there a gold standard product that i should know about?
