My husband and I are both no contact with our families so holidays are pretty much non existent in our house, just the way we like it. But of course, sometimes it’s hard. His mom is dead and mine has been dead to me for a long time.

This year he bought me a greenhouse but due to our rainy season, it’s still in the garage waiting on every storm possible to blow over. He surprised me with Rockville tickets last week so we just spent the last 4 days in the Florida heat dancing and singing to our favorite bands.

We had the best empanadas and ice cream while there. I miss them both already even though I ate them multiple times.

I love this man and this milky bun ice cream combo.

Not all thriller but very close.
