31M Professional moving from DC to Boston in Late May. Working in North End
Hey everyone,
I’m moving up from the DC area and looking for a room to rent or a studio lease starting around late May. I’ll be working in the North End, so a manageable commute on the T is a major priority.
A bit about me:
I’m 31, I highly value a quiet, hygienic, and organized living space. I'm respectful of shared areas and looking for a setup with a similar vibe—no crazy parties, just a peaceful place to recharge after work.
What I'm looking for:
• Space: A studio or a private room in a shared apartment.
• Vibe: Quiet, clean, and respectful.
• Commute: Easy access to the T (ideally an easy ride to the North End/Haymarket/North Station areas).
Since I'm navigating the Boston rental market from out of state, I’d love your input!
- What neighborhoods would you recommend that are relatively safe, affordable, and have a solid transit connection to the North End?
- Are there any specific red flags, notoriously bad intersections, or property management companies I should avoid?
If anyone has a lead on a room or studio, or just wants to share some neighborhood advice, please drop a comment or shoot me a DM. Thanks in advance!
