Today I had another poor experience with the commuter rail absolutely showing why sometimes you actually should have refunds because if I was on Amtrak I certainly would have received a refund.
Our train into Boston was over 30 minutes late into Middleborough, the departure time was 11:09 we didn't get onto the train till almost 11:35. After that we seemed to be the single passenger that had to pay I fare, I thought if they aren't going into South station due to construction every other time we never been charged due to how long of a delay using the Red Line adds. We then preceded to be speed restricted from Middleborough to Bridgewater causing us to loose another 20-30 minutes. Afterwards MBTA (sorry) excuse was that there was a slow zone due to a crossing issue but on the train all the crossings were working fine and we didn't see a single person actively fixing anything. We finally got to Braintree at 12:29 almost 40ish minutes behind schedule. We then had to switch to the redline which is just slower taking another hour to get to Fenway causing us to arrive after the game started.
Take the T to Fenway? Maybe not because you're too busy worried about making construction an excuse to be awful yet still charge me! We didn't get our tickets checked on the way back but I'm thinking that's because the trains where still a mess because the 5:13 train turned into the 6:13 train.
I feel like the T should either not be charging fares especially when they already doing construction (thought I'm unsure if this was a bad uninformed conductor, had one before try to charge people going to Braintree and making a hissy fit when I corrected them about the red line being shut down) or they should actively change there policies about delays and refunds.
I would appreciate if there a place to push forward policy's changes to the T if anything it motivate them to actually provide good service because otherwise they'll loose fare revenue. Instead it feels like we're stuck paying for bad service without any representation or way to get our money back and no real incentives to get people moving.
Everything else was sold out at target but they still had these little pocket charms, they perfectly fit the pokemon go plus in them. Don't really trust the basically Nintendo switch lanyard they give you, I usually keep it stuffed somewhere in my bag. Gonna put this on my bag so it can actually be semi displayed!
I purchased a Sony nw-a100 and had it imported from Japan. I only paid about 40ish dollars for it. I received it today and went through with degoogling it like many people said and also made sure to turn on battery saving. I charged to 100% to make sure it could fully hold a charge and then I set up some music on my SD card for it. After watching the battery life after only about an hour and half it's already at 75%. I'm listening to flac and with Bluetooth but I know most people said they would atleast get about 8-10.
Do anyone know anyone who does battery swaps? I would try to do it myself but I would need a soldiering iron and don't really trust myself with dealing with batteries. I live in the US in MA
Hope to get some help with this because so far I enjoyed this player more than the hiby r1 I got, it kept having Bluetooth connectivity issues even after fixing the SD file type bug.
