Sneak Preview of the Pokemon Fossil Museum at Chicago’s Field Museum!
We got to see a sneak peek of the new Pokemon Fossil Museum exhibit at Chicago’s Field Museum! Spoilers for the Pokemon fossils ahead, I have more pictures and merch that I can post too.
ETA: Exhibit exclusive merch pics in comments! lol I'm just realizing there's an online Pokemon Center shop with some of this merch - there is exclusive merch in-store with PFM logo/theming (like sweatpants/sweatshirt, fossil excavator shirt, skeleton tees) but there's a lot on the online store that isn't in the physical shop at the Field - any TCG items, all of the shirts/hats online are different than the ones in store, magnets, and the skeleton dishware (mug, water bottle) were not available in person currently. It could be that they want to limit stock options to deal with huge anticipated crowds and not have to keep constantly restocking.

Rhyperior is having a chill day at daycare
I was having a stroll through the city with some friends when I saw this gym, it took a good chuckle out of me!
WELP. Im definitely not getting this soon
I think to myself after FINALLY getting past the max out 3 combat power page and see gain hearts an excellent throws i can FINALLY get to this shiny horse...and then I see get a platinum unova medal. There's like 4 regional varients and I havent gotten to get to victini's quest yet because I cant finish Jirachi's(because whismer isnt spawning)
This...this horse feels IMPOSSIBLE. Bouffolant, Siglyph, and then i dont even how im gonna get Alomomola.
AFTER 5 YEARS MY FIRST SHLUNDO
Lucky trade with my friend shiny articuno for shiny landorus, he checked first and got a 96 and we were hella hyped and then I checked my and SHLUNDO. The entire apartment building definitely heard us.
Went to the landfill for work today and saw this guy there
Hard to reach arenas should reward mor
Yesterday, i went for a hike in the french alps. It was a challenging hike for me, 7.5 kms, 600 meters uphill, took us about 5 hours to complete.
After having climbed for 2 hours+ and being absolutely dead physically, my friend and I reached the summit, to be greated by an outstanding view. Damn that was worth it. We picknicked up there and stayed half an hour or so. At one moment, i thought i'd open pokemon go and nominate that christian cross, which was planted at the summit, as a new pokestop.
Low and behold, the pokestop already existed. In fact, it was a gym. Inside, ONE pokemon, from team red.
Poor lad was stuck there for 213 days. Kicked him out, felt as if i should release him.
I felt bad for the guy. He hiked, as myself and my friend, for 2+ hours uphill, got his pokemon there for 213 days, and... he's gotten 50 gold pieces.
That's it. No more, no less. Even worse, had he gotten his 50 of the day already, he'd get his pokemon back empty handed.
Shame.
If you read this, at least you enjoyed the view, the hike, the stories, and hopefully you got 50 coins out of your pokemon. It has come back now, feel free to put it back in another gym for even longer. You're welcome
Showcases are screwed
I literally drove home from work and entered 3 like I normally do. There are usually 6-7 people competing for each. I was the only person that entered each today. Nobody cares anymore. XXL's don't matter and you can't use one that has won this season. I'm sure cities have different perspectives but being in the suburbs or rural, it's horrible. I won with 2 under 1000 points.
SCREAMING, CRYING, AND OTHER VERBS!!!!!
Found this on my walk today so I figured I would brag about it on here. Sooooo close to a shundo too 🥲
My Pokémon had stage fright
Poor Excadrill, he was shaking uncontrollably the whole time. Fortunately, he overcame his fear and conquered.
What’s your highest amount of S T A R D U S T collected.?
I currently have the highest amount of Stardust I’ve ever had in all my years playing (2,054,231).
It’s not the highest amount I’ve seen, but I USED to be very invested in PvP and could never save dust due to levelling up Pokemon, unlocking second moves etc. But since battling less, I’ve been able to save it and it was only today I realised I had over 2Million.! 🥳 🤩
Anyway..
What’s your highest ever amount of StarDust collected.?
Maximum Sphorce has been deployed 🫡
We need the gym limit raised, I have so many more spheals to deploy. Found a gym dense area with low turnover. Want to conquer the whole area but at deployment limit. 😅
Your stardust rule?
I know there are people out there who have multi millions of stardust but what are everyone’s minimum stardust that they don’t go below? 0? 500K? 1 million?
I always get intrigued as to how others play the game.
Go Fest preparation
Hello Guys,
I will be attending Tokyo for 5 days and expect to be grinding a lot, this would be my first in person Go Fest, so don't really know what to expect.
In terms of items, like incubators, (remote) raid passes and such, what amounts are you looking for in preparation.
I don't want to be under prepared, but also would like not to overspend, I feel like it is a thin line.
Any help would be much appreciated.
I have 116 rare candies, what should i invest in
the attached pictures are my electric team and dynamax squad, after narrowly beating registeel with my friends, i found that my dynamax squad is severely underpowered, but i’ve also read that the kinda best electric attacker is xurkitree?(google told me that). Anyone can help me make the choice here?
Super Mega Raid tip
I don't know how many trainers are of aware this. Word does get it out quickly these days, but just in case. Friendly tip for trainers on Super Mega Raid day for Falinks. DO NOT use Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre for Super Mega Raids. They will not break shields. Don't make that mistake. It's probably the main reason so many trainers had complaints when Mega Dragonite released. Regards!
Dawn Wings gonna be eatin' good this Go Fest
Unless the Mega Mewtwo can use Shadow Ball anyway. DW seems to be the perfect counter to the two megas with a resistance to psychic and triple resistance to fighting
Nearly cried when I caught this - my daughters favourite Pokemon
She's nearly 2 and absolutely loves Gengar (we've got a giant plush she hugs every morning) going to start maxing this out and evolve it for her.
