I know. I know this has been posted many times before, but ladies…I AM FRUSTRATED!

Short story long…divorced (from a man) and am coming to terms with the fact I’m a lesbian. Started out as bi, dated a male and yeah…never again.

I work remotely so don’t get out very much. Not into the bar scene…more like the nice dinner and let’s be in bed by 9pm giggling our butts off. So I guess the apps are my only option, right? But why are they so TERRIBLE?

On HER for the 100th time over the last 3 years and have had some dates/experiences. Some good, some bad. But I’m so ready (aren’t we all?) to meet a woman and fall madly in love. I feel like I have so much to offer and would make a phenomenal wife!

Geography is always a factor, parenting schedules, lots of convos that haven’t gone anywhere, talking for weeks and asking for a date only to be met with “I’m not ready for a relationship.” Or “I’m not over my ex.” Then why are you on an app?

Oh, and I’ve come out to my mother THREE times now and she is not supportive. My therapist says I’m I should be glad there’s only one person in my life who has an opinion on my sexuality. Which is true…my entire support system is supportive, but MY MOM, the most important person in my life is not and we have gone through so much drama because of it.

So yeah, the last 3 years solo has been a journey and I’m frustrated. Very, frustrated.

Im so ready to fall in love with a woman…
